Corrections Log

We make mistakes. When we do, we fix them and we say so here.

This page lists every material correction made to a published BuyCospa article — meaning anything that could have changed the reader's understanding of a product, a price, a verdict, or a side-by-side comparison. Minor copy edits (typos, formatting, broken links) are fixed silently and are not logged here.

To report an error, email [email protected] with the article URL and the line in question. We respond to every report.

2026

June 9, 2026

  • Editorial Policy published. We added a full public editorial policy page covering research process, conflicts of interest, sponsored content, the humanize review, and AI authorship. — Initiated by the editorial team in response to a Google AdSense review feedback request for transparency documentation.
  • Privacy Policy rewritten. Restructured into 13 numbered sections, with explicit GDPR (EEA) and CCPA/CPRA (California) sections. Cookies, Google Analytics 4, Google AdSense, and affiliate programs are each described in their own subsection with a link to the underlying Google policies.
  • Terms of Service expanded. Added explicit sections on copyright takedown (DMCA), third-party links, indemnification, and Tokyo District Court jurisdiction. Removed all non-English phrasing.
  • About page rewritten. Replaced the previous "Chinese gadget discovery" framing with the current BuyCospa identity: an English-language value-comparison publication. Added an explicit E-E-A-T-aligned section on writers, research method, and corrections.
  • Contact page expanded. Added a role-based routing table for editorial questions, corrections, advertising, press units, privacy/GDPR requests, and DMCA notices. All inboxes consolidated to [email protected] with subject-line guidance.
  • Removed 9 thin or off-position articles. The following articles were removed from the site because they no longer met our current editorial standard (< 800 words, or based on the previous "Chinese gadget" framing):
    • sony-wh1000xm6-vs-bose-qc-ultra.md
    • asus-rog-swift-oled-vs-lg-ultragear-32gs95ue.md

Earlier corrections

Before June 9, 2026, corrections were logged on a per-article basis inside the affected article itself. We are working to backfill this page with a consolidated archive. If you are looking for a specific older correction, email [email protected] and we will dig it out for you.

How we handle reports

  1. We acknowledge every correction report within five business days.
  2. We investigate the report against the original source. If the original source was wrong, we fix the source citation as well as the article.
  3. If the article is updated, we add an entry to this page and an "Updated: [date]" line to the article header.
  4. If we disagree with the report, we explain why — in writing, by email — citing the source we relied on.
  5. We never delete reader comments or correction requests from our inbox. Internal record retention is 3 years for all correspondence tagged "correction".
